I am planning to pour a cement slab for my steel building. Can you advise me on the appropriate size?

When it comes to building a slab, it’s important to take into consideration the length of the roof. Generally, the slab should be 3/4″ wider and 1′ shorter than the roof length. However, if you’re calculating based on the exact floor span or base rail, then your slab should be the same size as the building length. Building codes in Florida may differ from other areas, as the state is prone to extreme weather conditions.
